Sparks, eased gradually into the tourism industry following
30 years in the Corporate world of financial management, and the combination
of extensive business experience against a service background saw
him enter the tourism market to concentrate on developing Evergreen
Excursions as a totally client focussed tour operating service, where
the only priority is a quality client experience.
Having been a registered Tourist Guide for 10 years, the regular personal
interaction with visitors during this time has provided him with the
ideal foundation to structure a business that is sensitive to future
client expectations. Additionally, there has been practical involvement
with various guiding associations, and industry related educational
forums, which has all helped in gaining valuable insights into what
is a very competitive industry. Vision

The Company
Evergreen Excursions is not a bottom line-driven organisation where
the only thing that matters is the year end financial result, but
rather an owner operated business that understands the value and effectiveness
of good, old fashioned service, given willingly and cheerfully. There
is a sensitivity to the small things that make the difference, as
well as recognition that going the extra mile, quite literally at
times, is a natural consequence of any travel organisation.
General
Unless requirements dictate otherwise, no itinerary will attempt to
cram in too much, and each day is as short or long as circumstances
dictate with no fear of haggling over price differences. Door to door
pickups and drop offs are considered the clients right, and, all itineraries
are conducted in air conditioned micro buses, unless alternative vehicles
are either requested, or determined by the size of the group.
For accompanied touring schedules, clients are in the care of a professionally
registered driver/guide, who has been carefully selected on the basis
of similar shared values to that of the owner.
Where necessary, internal South African air reservations are also
